This week’s module takes your party to a bustling town filled with secrets, political intrigue, and quirky NPCs. While there’s a touch of combat, the heart of the adventure lies in:

Roleplaying opportunities:

From heated debates to delicate negotiations, players must rely on their charisma and wits to succeed.

A mix of logic challenges and environmental riddles will keep the party on their toes.

Player agency:

Multiple solutions encourage creative problem-solving and cater to diverse playstyles. The accompanying video offers a walkthrough of the adventure, alongside tips for running it effectively.

Key Maps Included

This module comes with three downloadable maps:

A Simple Combat Gridmap:

Perfect for the few skirmishes players might encounter. Its layout balances tactical opportunities with narrative flow.

Detailed Town Map:

These maps serve as the adventure’s main stage, featuring key locations like the Castle of the Moon, the local church, and the main stores and vendors.

Wilderness Overview Map:

A small view of the outside of the location - Lord Gladsvain's Hall - and its position beneath the hillside, to give you and your players a better understanding of the layout.

In the video, I explain how to use these maps to guide roleplay and exploration while enhancing immersion.

Running the Module

Here are a few tips for making the most of this roleplaying and puzzle-solving adventure:

Lean into NPC interactions:

Develop a few memorable quirks or voices for key NPCs to make them stand out.

Adapt puzzles for your group:

If your players enjoy a challenge, feel free to increase the complexity of the riddles. On the other hand, have hints ready for groups that prefer faster pacing.

Emphasize player choices:

Allow their decisions to shape the narrative, rewarding creative solutions and bold risks. The goal is to keep the focus on storytelling and collaboration, ensuring every player feels invested in the outcome.
