The Halfling Boroughs | Downloadable Map

Hello, adventurers, and welcome back to the Red Quills! We took last week off from map posts to focus on the next series and the new ambience videos that we have launching on our channel, and we're so pleased with how far we've come!

In only five months, we've gained nearly two thousand YouTube subscribers, and it's wonderful to see how many people use and love our maps.

This week, we're starting with the second series of map tutorials and worldbuilding insights, with six new naturalists maps. In the style of our fan-favourite The Drifting Isle, we'll have these maps highlight the different environs that you can encounter in your fantasy world.

And we're starting with the most quaint and peaceful of all, the Halfling Boroughs!

This map is a full, A2 exploration of one of the sleepy corners of the Boroughs, namely the pastoral town of Heartwood, nestled beneath the Little Peak. With some sketches of the local flora and fauna, and a map in the style of the English fellwalker, Alfred Wainwright, it is a delightful look at their countryside.

With, as Bilbo Baggins prefers, "all the best walking trails marked out in red ink."

You can download the full map here:

And you can check out the video tutorial on our channel here: The Red Quills

Thank you once again to all of our supporters, we couldn't do this without you. If you do enjoy what we do and don't already subscribe to our channel on YouTube, you should head on over as we'll be starting to post more and more over there for our growing fan base.
